FSU GRAPHIC STANDARDS

FSU’s Graphic Standards Guide offers a foundation for clear, concise communication of the University’s institutional identity. This includes a description of the logo and guidelines for its use, including official colors and typefaces, as well as the appropriate use of existing University symbols. Repeated and consistent use of the logo is critical to establishing and maintaining FSU’s identity with our many constituents.

It is important that all departments of Frostburg State University maintain a consistent identity and visual image throughout their publications and other printed materials. Please review these guidelines carefully before creating any materials using the FSU identity.

These graphic standards apply to all publications and other types of marketing materials produced by the University for external audiences including:

  • Departmental brochures
  • Enrollment management publications
  • Print advertising
  • Signage
  • Stationery and business cards
  • Banners, flyers, posters
  • University website
  • Departmental newsletters

Examples of materials exempt from these guidelines:

  • Student publications
  • Internal memos, email and letters
  • Student and faculty papers, reports, research posters, or presentations.
